Store Policies

Overview

This policy pertains to the environment, well-being, behavior, and consequences at Queen City Framing & Art Supplies.

Store policies are subject to change at any time, without notice.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Merchandise Policies

We strive to give the best interactions with returns or problems with products. Reasonable returns are always accepted with the following exceptions:

No returns on paint, books or classes within the two-week deadline before class.

Framing Policies

We frame with conservation methods, and museum quality materials. That being said, unless otherwise specified, we will always design with the safety of your piece in mind, with reversible methods, and charge accordingly unless otherwise asked.

We require 50% down payment on your work when left with us, but we do offer a 5% off total cost when paid upfront with a new frame.

We require you to leave your art with us when designing your work, & do not frame while you wait.

We require the person picking up your piece to know the name of the person who placed the order.

We have around a 3wk turnaround and offer rush framing with a fee calculated by the size of the piece.

Framed pieces left longer than 90 days become the property of the store.

We cannot take pieces with mold, mildew, or other transferrable damage that can affect other frames.

Framing using vintage frames is taken in at the discression of the framer. We do not guarantee any work done in pre-existing frames.

We reserve the right to refuse to use any vintage/ premade frames we deem unusable due to condition, material, etc. in our framing.

If damage to artwork ever occurs, we offer reimbursement for the proven cost of the artwork, up to $2,000.

We offer a 100% satisfaction framing guarantee.

At time of pickup in-store, you are welcome to inspect our work, and initiate changes or repair. Once the framed project leaves our doors, Queen City Framing & Art Supply is not liable for chips, dings, scratches, or damages of any kind, and the customer waives the right to initiate returns or exchanges.

Any damages occurring after the customer picks up their project at the counter will be paid for by the customer if there is a problem with the frame, glass, backing, hanging hardware, etc.
