We're gearing up for our 10th Annual Community Art Show!

In keeping with social media trends (and our own tradition), we invite ALL OF YOU who are currently living in Montana to create art for our community juried show!

Maybe your ink illustration is inspired by the fairytales we all grew up with, or their darker origins. You could also look much closer to home and incorporate local legends (like our current muse, Jimothy) and stories of all types of things that go bump in the night.

However you interpret the theme, we are so excited to see all of your pieces!

Details:

*The show will be up during the month of October 2026.

*Art MUST incorporate ink as a primary element - this includes ink markers

*Art must be framed in a professional manner, overall size no larger than approximately 16” x 20”

*Art must have been completed within the last 2 years

*Subject matter must fit the theme and be ‘family friendly’

*Art must be for sale – QCF&AS keeps 30% commission

*Up to 2 pieces may be submitted by an artist – there is no submission fee

*Please include the following information with your submission:

Name, Email, Title, Size, Medium(s), Price, & a sentence about your inspiration

A $100 Gift Certificate from QCF&AS awarded for BEST OF SHOW as voted by the public during show.

* QCF&AS reserves the right to not hang art that was accepted but does not meet framing or quality expectations when received.

*Submit Artwork by September 12, 2026

*Notification of acceptance will be emailed by September 15, 2026, along with a ‘Featured Artist’ agreement to sign.

*Accepted art must be received at Queen City Framing & Art Supplies by September 30, 2026

*Art past the 30th will not be allowed into the show.
